Hey, I'm Phoebe!
A contemporary artist inspired by the landscapes of New England. I studied at Pratt Institute in New York, but my journey with painting has been mostly self-taught—shaped through independent study and learning directly from other artists.
My work is deeply focused on water. I don’t approach it just as something to replicate, but as something to understand—almost like studying it through a scientific and sculptural lens. What fascinates me most is how light moves across it.
The ocean, especially, never stays the same. It’s constantly shifting—light, reflection, movement—never fully settling. And that’s exactly what keeps me coming back to paint it.
